The Club

The basic intention being promotion of motor sports in Eastern India, it was decided to hold more of events around the city and even away from it giving the new comers a galaxy of events and a permutation of format inducting in them a feel of total rally as is prevalent all over the country. Fees and prizes were one more a reason for the participants to ponder upon, which termed the event RICH MAN’S, and it was decided to minimize the entry fees and give awards till Sixth position along with inducting trophies towards ‘Best Novice Team’, ‘Best lady driver’, ‘Best Navigator’ and even the ‘Best Tuner’, boosting with free fuel bringing in a culture of motor rallying. This really gave the required impetus to the commoners and today when we look back, the event which was even Five years back limited to a handful has today more than 50 novices together in the Four and Two wheeler category, doing the driving and navigating, who under the arch light are the who’s who of the motor sporting fraternity of Eastern India. Our job doesn’t end there. We organize regular training camps for the marshals who are the judges of any event. The officials are trained to give their best. We also organize workshop for the drivers and navigators in a classroom situation with audiovisual presentation by ace rallyists not only from Eastern India but also from all over the country helping them to brush up their dormant talent.
