BMSC has two regular national events in its yearly calendar (A) Kolkata Santiniketan Kaviguru Rally & (B) Kolkata Jamsedpur Monsoon Rally.
Till recently Kalinga Rally (Kolkata – Orissa) was also a regular feature in a calendar year.
Besides BMSC had conducted and organized rallies like Nazrul Centenary Rally, Rally for the Blind, National Go-karting Championship, Haldia Utsav Rally, Chattisgarh Rally, SAF Games Rally (at Kathmandu to commemorate inauguration of SAF Games), Millennium Rally (to commemorate the year 2000), Kolkata –Digha Rally for the medical representatives, Tara Drive Kolkata rally… so on & so forth.
BMSC, under the banner of FMSCI, was one of the most active club to organize 1st ASEAN-India Car Rally 2004 – covering 11 countries and 8000 KM. President of BMSC Mr. Rajat Majumdar was the Chairman of the Rally Committee for this historic event.
BMSC was one of the co-organizer of Airtell One India Challenge 2005 – by far the biggest and longest Motor rally ever held in India– covering 8000 Km – with a prize money of Rs. One Crore.
BMSC also involved as co-organizer of other mega events like Kolkata Marathon, for last several years – organizing the route and providing vital technical support systems.
Over the years BMSC has developed a huge technical expertise and knowledge in organizing Motor Sports events for four wheelers, two wheelers, TSD rallies, Special Stage rallies, rallies for physically challenged persons, i.e., blind persons, Go-karting, etc.
BMSC is in possession of own technical equipment, hard ware and softwares to conduct any kind of motor sports event in a professional manner.
BMSC has several members who have qualified as Motor Sports Officials like Chief Medical Officer - FIM, Stewards, Scrutineers, Marshals etc.
Today’s motor sports events are more safety conscious than ever before.
BMSC has unique track record on the safety aspects of all the events that it has organized so far.
BMSC has qualified doctors as its members who always participate in the events as medical & safety support team.
Besides, BMSC also has vehicle engineering & safety experts as its members– who always take part in organizing any event as safety and recovery officials.
BMSC periodically conducts workshops for drivers, navigators as well as officials covering safety features and technical aspects of motorsports.
Over the years BMSC has developed a synergy of team work –focused and dedicated – for promotion of motor sports.
Indian Oil Favourite Car Rally was organised by BMSC along with Lions Club of Patna Favourite in Patna on February 7th 2010. 29 competitors participated in this successful event of one day for 118 kms. from Patna to Pawapuri. This annual event has developed a great deal of awareness for safe motorsports in Bihar.
Kolkata Marathon was very well and successfuly organised on 21st February 2010 by BMSC, one of the co organisers of the event
